The Bible says in James 2:14-17,
What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well” – but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.
When we see an opportunity to help someone else, we do it. It is one thing to see a need and quite another to fulfill it. At Wellsprings, we strive to meet the needs we see in the First Responder community by offering one avenue of strength, encouragement, and rest.
Wellsprings is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization based in Texas serving our First Responders from communities throughout the United States. Providing a unique twist to a typical bed and breakfast retreat, Wellsprings offers a Texas Ranch-style cabin accommodations complete with recreational activities such as hiking, fishing, outdoor sports, and we may even get you on a horse too! Reservations are now open for Glamping Cabins at Wellsprings. Renovations are currently underway on additional cabins as well.
Reboot First Responder
Reboot is a 12 week course created by First Responders for First Responders and their spouses to provide practical help when dealing with the after-effects of traumatic incidents.
